In preparation of its 2020 Annual Meeting, the Collaborative Summer Library Program (CSLP) will be holding four Listening Sessions throughout the month of August. These sessions are open to all staff at CSLP Member Libraries, and are your opportunity to have your voice heard, and to hear from others. Summaries from the listening sessions will be shared with all CSLP State Representatives, Board Members, and Committee Chairs. Please contact for your State Rep (Cathy Lancaster, lancasterc5 at michigan.gov<mailto:lancasterc5 at michigan.gov>) for a copy of these summaries. All Michigan public libraries are members, thanks to support in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
The Listening Sessions will be held at 2pm (EDT) on the following dates:
* August 18th
* August 20th
* August 25th
* August 27th
These four sessions will accommodate up to 100 participants each. Registration is required. For those wishing to speak, we will have thirty speaking slots per session. Each speaking slot is up to two minutes in duration. These slots are on a first come, first served basis. If you would like to speak, please indicate which topic you would like to address on the registration form. The four speaking options are:
* The 2022 slogan
* The 2024 theme
* The 2020 CSLP Elections
* Any combination of the three aforementioned topics (speaking time will remain caped at two minutes, regardless of the number of topics discussed)
CSLP member library staff may sign up for multiple sessions using this form:
