MLA Connect Coffee Hour: Ask a Library Lawyer

Thursday, June 25, 2020
10:00 am

Grab a cozy mug of your favorite beverage and join MLA as we continue our discussion about safely reopening our libraries. Back by popular demand, Attorney Anne M. Seurynck will join us to discuss the legal aspects of enforcing new safety standards and what libraries should and should not consider as they enter new reopening phases*.

*This MLA Connect Coffee Hour is for informational purposes only and is not to be considered legal advice. Libraries should confer with their legal counsel and their local emergency management personnel and public health departments to clarify any questions regarding the appropriate activity.

Speaker:

Anne M. Seurynck, Attorney
Foster Swift Collins & Smith PC

Each week we provide a platform for you to ask questions, share ideas, and provide input to other library professionals struggling with the global health crisis, remote work, and how to prepare for the future.

This coffee hour is free to attend to anyone interested in joining the conversation! A maximum of 500 attendees can join the live event. Registered attendees will receive information and a link to access the meeting on the Zoom platform. A recording of the session will be available on the MLA website for those unable to attend the live event.
