Happy #OEWeek!!!

On behalf of the MI OER Summit Planning Committee, we are pleased to announce that the call for proposals<https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfM29kQ7r8KgPQv2B67J247c0qB_iAATubyPHcowuIUh-JRDg/viewform> for the 4th Annual MI OER Summit, http://www.mioersummit.org/, is now open. This event will be at the Kellogg Hotel & Conference Center, Michigan State University (MSU) on August 28, 2020. This year, we are fortunate to have two keynote speakers who are pillars in open education: Dr. Rajiv Jhangiani, Associate Vice Provost, Open Education at Kwantlen Polytechnic University, British Columbia, and Dr. Lisa Petrides, founder, and CEO of the Institute for the Study of Knowledge Management in Education (ISKME).

This year's theme is "Building Bridges to Open Up Education," so we invite you to submit proposals that speak to the connections, collaborations, and partnerships that promote openness in the K-12 and postsecondary education. Together, let's celebrate our success, share our challenges, and reinvent the future where all have access and opportunity to create knowledge for the public good.

The deadline for submitting proposals is April 13, 2020. Please save the date and stay tuned for our announcement when registration opens in a few weeks.

Lastly, for those of you from out-of-state but within driving distance, we hope you could join us.

Thanks,
Regina
