[Michlib-l] RBdigital Resources and Michigan Statewide Discounted Pricing: Final Reminder

Good Morning, 

I wanted to touch base with libraries one more time concerning the statewide discounted offer for the five RBdigital resources (magazines, soon to be expanded to 3,500 titles; 35,000+ unlimited audiobooks; 1,500 comics; 2,500+ newspapers; streaming video)

Our standard contract year for these services with Recorded Books is May 1 through April 30. HOWEVER, in light of current events I have received many requests from libraries in recent weeks for an early, as in asap start (April 1) or for a "we would like to go live effective with our new fiscal year" start (July 1 usually). 

We, TLN and RB, have been glad to honor these requests for an early, a May 1, or a July 1 (or any other time, really) go live with any/all of these services. 

The deadline for libraries to commit to any/all of the five services included in the RBdigital Michigan statewide discounted pricing proposal is tomorrow, Tuesday, March 31. Even at this late hour we will do our best to accommodate any library that requests an April 1, 2020 go live with any/all of these services.
