"Old-Fashioned Connection: Phone Programming in a Pandemic by Hannah Arata, ALA Public Programs Office" -- "With COVID-19, many of us are attached to our screens - even more than usual. Library programming has gone digital. But what about patrons without internet access, or with very limited access? To combat the digital divide, libraries and humanities councils across the country are finding the old-fashioned phone to be a strong programming tool."

The article gives examples not only of the programming activities but the technologies libraries are using to implement this type of program offering. Another interesting read after the share last week of libraries in Alaska providing programming via AM radio.
