Registration is open for Libraries Engage Appreciatively for Positive Change (LEAP)!
Please excuse cross-posting and note that this event includes lists that extend beyond Michigan, but the event is for Michigan library staff only.
As part of our shared Michigan Libraries Engage project, MCLS and the Library of Michigan invite Michigan library staff to a special virtual event on Thursday, Nov. 5, 2020.
Attend Libraries Engage Appreciatively for Positive Change (LEAP) 2020 and learn...
* methods and techniques to engage your local community and initiate positive change through Appreciative Inquiry.
* to focus on positive aspects of change and build on existing strengths.
* the importance of collaborative conversations, dialogue, and stories.
Maureen McKenna of Return on Energy Consulting<http://returnonenergy.ca/about/>, an internationally respected and highly sought-out expert in the field of Appreciative Inquiry, will be facilitating the LEAP program along with MCLS's Engagement, Consulting, & Training team.
The Library of Michigan supports Michigan library staff in growing their skills toward the goal of stronger community engagement. Registration is highly subsidized and is just $40 per person.
Following the November event, attendees will receive six months of facilitated learning and coaching via Zoom meetings.
Registration is now open and first-come, first-served. Register today!<https://store.mcls.org/index.php/special-programs/libraries-engage-appreciatively-for-positive-change-leap-604.html>
