Greetings!

I know many of you are often on the hunt for new tools and ideas to develop programming for your community, especially now that we're exploring the new world of virtual programming. Did you know that you can find programming ideas and activities in the MeL eResources? Take a look at MeL's two new programming guides that make connections between MeL content and library programming ideas.

Here are a few examples of what you'll find...

  * Hosting a virtual author visit? Investigate NoveList's robust collection of recommendations, genre guides, and author interviews.
  * Planning a storytime and want to include learning games or activities? Explore World Book Early Learning.
  * Supporting job seekers in your community? Try the Resume Builder in LearningExpress Library.

Promotions Toolkit
Looking for easy ways to promote timely topics and resources in your community? Now that we're doing more online, you may find that you're sharing more on social media or via email newsletters and blog posts. The resources in this toolkit support the marketing you do directly to your communities. The toolkit is a robust collection of templates, graphics, and copy so you don't have to write your own, if you don't want to.
You can use these materials just as they are, or if you are inspired by the ideas in toolkit you can create your own assets, either by modifying what's in the toolkit, or by creating something from scratch. Graphics templates can be edited in Photoshop or Canva.
