[Michlib-l] Virtual Event: Yooper Talk with Kathryn Remlinger 10/27/20 at 7:00pm

Hello everyone,
Cromaine District Library is proud to be hosting Kathryn Remlinger, GVSU
Professor of English, as she explains the social and linguistic history of
English in the Upper Peninsula, or Yooper Talk, and how ideas of what it
means to sound like a Yooper have emerged over time. This is a fascinating
talk you won't want to miss! Feel free to pass the link along to colleagues
or interested patrons.

This event is scheduled for October 27 at 7:00pm and will run approximately
1 hour.
