[Michlib-l] Plant swap program guidance needed

When we did a plant swap a few years ago, I asked people to bring the
plants (no limit on number of plants) they were swapping a day prior to the
swap. For each plant they brought, I gave them a ticket that they could use
to "purchase" plants the following day during the swap. If people brought
extra plants they didn't want tickets for, I set those aside for anyone who
arrived at the swap without a plant to trade. I had the plants set up on
tables and I believe the event took place from 12-4 as a come and go
activity. It went well without being a free for all. I'm sure I added a
book display of plant and gardening books they could check out, but I
didn't have any specific literature for the plants that were available
other than plant name identification tags. We had a pretty good variety and
it was fun.
