The Cadillac Wexford Public Library is seeking a full time Collection

*Cadillac Wexford Public Library seeks Full Time Collections Manager*

*General Description:*

This position performs and supervises the activities necessary to maintain
and grow the library’s collection of circulating materials. Duties include
coordinating orders with staff and vendors, cataloging in coming materials,
and processing incoming materials with the appropriate covers and spine
labels etc. The Collections Manager deletes materials, and helps assess
incoming donations, as well as managing periodicals. This position is also
responsible for collection development duties as assigned. The Collections
Manager reports directly to the library director. They work cooperatively
with the Financial Manager to monitor spending in collections and to create
the yearly budget. The Collections Manager is also crossed train to support
the MelCat Coordinator when necessary.

*Education and Experience:*

   - High school graduate required- college education a plus


   - Experience with staff side of circulation system/s- Apollo experience
   a plus
   - Experience covering and processing items
   - Familiarity with budgets
   - Collection development experience
   - Ability to pass a background check



*Essential Functions*: Ability to sit, walk, or stand for long periods of
time; ability to lift or carry moderately heavy objects



*Wage Range*: $ 31,000-$34,000/year

*Work Schedule*: Full time 40 hours/week, flexible scheduling available

*Cadillac Wexford Public Library seeks Part Time Programming Coordinator*

*General Description:*

This part time position creates and implements library programs and events
for ages 18+. These programs respond to community needs and wants as they
align to library priorities like lifelong learning and improved literacy.
The Programming Coordinator utilizes existing community and staff expertise
and creates collaborations with community organizations under the
supervision of the director.  They coordinate program promotion in social
media and news outlets with other staff members and departments.

*Education and Experience:*

·         High school diploma or equivalent required- Some college preferred

·         Clerical experience preferred

·         Experience creating and implementing community events required

·         Prior experience working in a library preferred

·         Ability to pass a background check



*Essential Functions*: Ability to sit, walk, or stand for long periods of
time; ability to lift or carry moderately heavy objects



*Wage Range*: $ 15-$16.50/hour depending on experience

*Work Schedule*: 20 hours/week, some evenings and Saturdays
