Broadband access to the internet has been nearly essential to participation in society for over 20 years. From fun and interesting to now being necessary for education, access to public information /services, and participation of the global digital economy. Yet today, even against the backdrop of the pandemic and in the world's leading tech nation of the US, 10's of millions of people remain under or totally unserved.

Join us on Friday to get the full picture of what more needs to happen to finally bridge this unacceptable digital exclusion and where libraries fit into the solution.

Speakers:

Lev Gonick -- educator, technologist, and smart city architect. He has been teaching, working, and living on the Net for more than 25 years.
