[Michlib-l] MeL Minute: Getting to Know Your eResources: MasterFILE Complete

How often, though, do you think about the current subscriptions that feed these individual databases?

There are specialized databases like Caribbean Search<https://widgets.ebscohost.com/prod/customerspecific/mel/auth.php?database=ebsco-b7h> and Jewish Studies Source<https://widgets.ebscohost.com/prod/customerspecific/mel/auth.php?database=ebsco-jss> that are specific to a particular region or subject. MasterFILE Complete<https://widgets.ebscohost.com/prod/customerspecific/mel/auth.php?database=ebsco-f6h>, however, is the exact opposite of those resources. In MasterFILE Complete the subjects are wide ranging, making it the nimblest of all the databases found in MeL.

With hundreds of subscriptions in MasterFILE Complete, it’s impossible to list them all in this brief post. Instead, I’ll offer a small sample of the myriad topics and limit each one to a handful of the current subscriptions. Many of the articles in these publications are offered in both full-color PDF and HTML formats, giving users optimal accessibility to the content. Additionally, all articles offer a permalink or a single click to drop in your Google Drive account.
