[Michlib-l] Returned Items Covid Quarantine

Sharing the contents of an email sent by one of our patrons. The link she provided in her email does not work since it is for registered members of a physicians group, so I did not include it here.

Good morning,
I am a physician that lives in the neighborhood and I heard this talk by Emanuel Goldman about transmission of Covid 19 on surfaces.  He specifically talks about transmission on books and said most of the available data suggests about 1 day would be sufficient rather than 3 or 4.  He gets to this point toward the last 10 minutes.

I just wanted to thank everyone for all of the hard work you're doing serving our community!  I am sharing this article not to necessarily suggest you change anything, but more as reassurance that you're being extremely safe for everyone.  I thank you so much.  The library has been such a wonderful thing to still have through this strange year and I know it's because of the hard work of all of our wonderful librarians.
