[Michlib-l] Facility Maintenance Company?

Hi all,Van Buren District Library’s Webster Memorial location currently employs an individual to maintain the facility including lawn, snow removal, cleaning, repairs, etc. This individual will likely retire in a year or two and we’re considering our options. One option is to hire another individual to perform the same duties as the current individual. Another option is to contract these duties out to various companies. The problem with this idea is it would take a lot of time and knowledge (of which I have neither) to manage all the contractors involved. Does anyone use a single company to perform or manage all of the tasks necessary to maintain their facility? If you use such a company, I would be interested in learning about your experience with them.
