[Michlib-l] Searching for Author/Book Title

  Hoping that collective minds can solve this mystery.  I am looking for the author or title of a novel published in the 1970 ish.  The basic plot is a prisoner who leaves prison each day and turns each night.  Any ideas?  Asking for a patron.
