I have already had several requests to share responses, so I will compile and share to Michlib.

Subject: [Michlib-l] circulating board games best practices
Hello, we recently started a Library of Things, and we're working on adding board games to circulate. For libraries that circulate board games, what have you found to be best practices? Specifically, how detailed do you get on what pieces are included in contents lists, and how carefully do staff check if all the pieces are there? What/how do you charge if pieces are missing? Do these things depend on the game?
Any advice is appreciated!
