[Michlib-l] Connecting Michigan Taskforce Virtual Listening Tour Webinar Information - Sept 14 and 16

The listening tour dates are Sept 14 and 16. There are two different times each day to attend.

Broadband is a critical topic for improving the quality of life for all Michiganders. Join the Connecting Michigan Taskforce (CMIT) for a virtual listening and learning tour to discuss broadband and technology in the state. Local and regional stakeholders are invited to participate in order to:


  *   Learn more about the Connecting Michigan Taskforce
  *   Hear about recent federal and state broadband efforts
  *   Provide your insights and feedback to CMIT on broadband issues and solutions in your community

Each session will be 45 minutes and will include an open Q&A portion with a focus on finding solutions for broadband challenges and identifying issues in Michigan's broadband ecosystem.

The Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) has partnered with Connected Nation Michigan (CNMI) to address the state's broadband challenges and to improve access, adoption, and the use of broadband technology across the state. MEDC and CNMI have formed the Connecting Michigan Taskforce (CMIT) and are working with a number of other state agencies and private sector partners to increase broadband access and adoption across the state.
