Problematic Award-Winning Texts: Daniel Boone, the Newbery Award, and Children's Librarianship

1-Day Newbery 100 Symposium!
ALSC is excited to collaborate with the Center for Children's Books at the University of Illinois School of Information Sciences for a FULL day symposium on the Newbery Medal! During this free virtual symposium, attendees will have an opportunity to learn about the history of this award, its evolution, and impact. This event will take place on November 5 from 9am - 4:30pm CST.
