Hi Everybody,

Historic Voices is having a Virtual Presenters Showcase on Tuesday, 
August 9! My library had Laura Keyes for her "A Look Behind Orson 
Welles’
'War of the Worlds' Broadcast" online event back in March, and the 
attendees loved it! We will have her again for "The History of the 
Hershey Chocolate Company" virtual program.

Are you a Program Coordinator who is seeking new History-focused
speakers/presenters for your Adult customers? Are you looking for
presenters for your Virtual or Hybrid programs? Then you need to attend
our Virtual History Presenters Showcase!

Just in time to plan your Winter Programming, Laura Keyes of Historic
Voices [2] will host a Virtual Presenters Showcase on Tuesday, 9 August
at 2pm CENTRAL, with History-focused Virtual Presenters for General
Audiences / Adult Services. Follow this link [3] to register:

There will be new speakers at this Showcase, all of whom are available
Virtually. (Many of them are willing to discuss in-person presentations,
too!) The topics they cover are very broad within the scope of History
(History of the Guitar, Minorities in the American Army, Female
Lighthouse Keepers, Laura Ingalls Wilder's The Long Winter, 19th Century
Women's Clothing, the Revolutionary War, Women's Suffrage, Charlotte
Bronte... The list goes on and on!). The speakers are varied (in any way
you want to define them), and the type of programs they offer are varied
(Living History Portrayals, workshops, illustrated lectures, etc.).

If you attended the First-Ever Virtual Presenters Showcase [4] I hosted
in December, that's great! I will have many more new speakers at this
Showcase in August.
