[Michlib-l] Mural Ribbon Cutting at East Lansing Public Library

Hi all,

Just writing to share a flyer for an upcoming mural ribbon cutting at ELPL. This will take place on September 29 at 10:30am. Everyone is welcome to attend to learn more about the mural and celebrate its official unveiling!

The mural by Dustin Hunt of Muralmatics depicts a Black family sitting at the kitchen table discussing current social justice issues, with historical artifacts from East Lansing's civil rights history scattered through the scene. The mural educates the public on the city's past, while illustrating how conversations on justice continue in the city today.
