ALSC's Quicklists Consulting Committee has updated their Summer Reading Lists with new and exciting titles for 2023. The lists are full of book titles to keep children engaged in reading throughout the summer. Four Summer Reading lists are available for birth-preschool and grades K-2, 3-5 and 6-8. Each list is available here to download for free. Titles on the 2023 Summer Reading Lists were compiled and annotated by members of ALSC's Quicklists Consulting Committee. ALSC reading lists are created as a resource for children's librarians to share with patrons. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to explore these titles to find resources that may match or spark their child's interest.

Quick reminder that there are also new support materials including editable reading logs to match the theme available in the Collaborative Summer Library Program's 2023 "All Together Now!" online manual.
To access the manual, you will need to visit the CSLP website at: www.cslpreads.org<http://www.cslpreads.org/>. Once there, hover over the "Manual Downloads" button located on the menu bar. From the drop-down menu, select 2023 All Together Now. You will be prompted to enter your access code made available to library directors this past Fall in an email from me.
Check out the "Additional Content" tab for a download of Customizable Calendars for planning/programming, available as Adobe PDF, Word, or PowerPoint formats. This tab also offers access to new Customizable Reading Logs, trifolds that you can use Adobe<https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/edit-pdf.html> to edit in your library information or even use the template to create your own reading lists.
Finally, the 2023 CSLP Social Media Toolkit and the 2023 CSLP Fonts are all available in the tab for easy access.
This program is provided by the Library of Michigan with support from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
