The Historical Society of Michigan hosts monthly History Skills Workshops,
and this month’s might be of interest to library staff. Larissa Nuñez, guest
services and volunteer coordinator at the Krasl Art Center in St. Joseph,
will be presenting on volunteer management. Volunteers are often an integral
part of library staffing, but it can be tricky to get the help you need when
folks are so busy. Come learn how to attract, train, manage, and reward the
people who offer to help your organization.

This virtual workshop takes place on Monday, August 28, from 9am to noon.
