[Michlib-l] Online Library Card Registration

Good morning everyone!

We are looking at possibly moving away from the traditional paper applications for library cards, so that we can reach more patrons. I've seen that there are other libraries that use an online application for library cards and was wondering how that worked.  Is there a specific website that is used? Any and all information is welcome.
