[Michlib-l] Spine label print fading.

If you’re using Thermal transfer printers you need to use resin ribbon on polyester labels.
Wax resin on any stock will flake off even under a protector.
Polypropylene label stock can be cheaper but it is designed for shorter term outdoor use. It’s UV and moisture resistant, but the surface deteriorates in one to three years.

Subject: [Michlib-l] Spine label print fading.
Has anyone had an experience of having their spine label print fade within three months of printing?
What sort of labels did you use? Protectors?
Curious!
Thank you,
