[Michlib-l] Job Posting: Full Time Adult Librarian Position Available

The White Lake Township Library is hiring a Full Time Adult Services
Librarian. The Adult Librarian will provide reference and readers’ advisory
services to patrons of all ages, coordinate, plan and conduct regular
programming, including oversight of the adult programming budget, and
investigate
and implement makerspace innovations and practices in our Idea Lab and
Library of Things.



Desired Qualifications include:

   -

   ALA-accredited Master in Library and Information Science or Master of
   Science in Information
   -

   1+ years of public library experience preferred


   -

   Enthusiasm for adult services and commitment to public service excellence
   -

   Demonstrated knowledge of library materials and resources for adults
   ages 18+ and up
   -

   Computer literacy and an ability to provide technology instruction
   -

   Ability to work effectively and courteously with the public and other
   library employees
   -

   Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and time management
   skills


Starting Salary is $20-23 per hour based on experience and education, plus
health, dental and vision insurance, life, AD&D, short term and long term
disability insurance, personal, vacation, and sick time off, and Defined
Contribution, Healthcare Savings, and voluntary 457 retirement plans.
