[Michlib-l] Join OCLC Global Council for Redefining the library experience

Dear Michigan Library Colleagues,

As an ARC delegate, I want to invite you to join us for the 2023 Global Council area of focus, “Redefining the library experience<https://linkprotect.cudasvc.com/url?a=https%3a%2f%2fwww.oclc.org%2fen%2fmembership%2farea-of-focus.html%3futm_campaign%3dglobal-council-aof-fy23%26utm_medium%3ddigital%26utm_source%3dgc-delegate%26utm_content%3dglobal-council-delegate-redefining-the-library-experience&c=E,1,iOLkO6yi8fRjDLoArECVEHgQod7VHHqEs72n0ievELQZmkX4Pah4MFt8pRV7thVbuftaGz1MZs0LfB6qFHoZWBY9zdwXgb-uVtc6Cvh9xwWs11LTG1DG&typo=1>” that will explore community engagement with the library, collaboration among libraries and community partners, and innovative programming.

Activities include a global library survey in which we hope to learn more about how libraries around the world are evolving the library experience to create more meaningful community engagement.  This survey is open through 28 February 2023 to all libraries, regardless of type, size, or location.

In addition to the survey, we invite you to join us for the “Redefining the library experience: Putting ideas into action” webinar* on Tuesday 24 January 2023, 11:00 am – 12:00 pm Eastern (UTC -5) / 17:00 – 18:00 (CET). Library leaders from around the world will discuss ideas for creating innovative experiences that provide meaningful engagement and bring impactful change to the communities we serve.
