Hi Everyone,

Earlier this week, I sent information on a research study that OCLC is conducting. Unfortunately, the link that was embedded in the message I received to share with all of you had a link that didn't work for some of our colleagues. Since I don't have anything to do with the planning or execution of the study, I wasn't able to provide a working link at that moment and encouraged everyone to reach out to the individual leading the study. I'm happy to report, I now have a new message with a link that I tested myself. I encourage those of you who work on the frontlines with public libraries to consider participating.

Are you a public library professional working in the US or Canada? If so, we'd like to talk with you!

We will be holding two virtual focus group interviews in April with frontline staff in public libraries who work in a variety of public library sizes and regions, serving diverse communities across the US and Canada.

If you are interested in participating in this study, please complete a brief online screening survey which should take about 5 minutes. We will use this to determine if you fit the study profile. If you are chosen to participate in the study, you will need to give your consent by signing an online form.

Focus group interviews will be conducted and audio recorded via Microsoft Teams and will last approximately 90 minutes. Your identity will be kept confidential. Your email address and any other identifying information will not be connected to your interview responses. Furthermore, you may withdraw your consent at any time to terminate your participation.

Please access the following link to take the screening survey by April 7:
