[Michlib-l] SCAO grant

Hey Michigan Library folks,

Nora Ryan from Michigan Legal Help asked me to share this information with you all.

In September, the State Court Administrative Office (SCAO) announced the 2024 Legal Self-Help Center Grant Program. SCAO will award and disburse $500,000 in grant funding to expand legal self-help center services across the state. SCAO is now accepting applications.

Grant applications are due November 12, 2023. You can learn more about the Program and how to apply at the Michigan Supreme Court and SCAO Grant Program page<https://www.courts.michigan.gov/publications/grantsrfps/>.

For selected grantees, the grant period will start on January 1, 2024 and end September 30, 2024.

Michigan Legal Help will provide technical assistance to grantees and is available to consult on proposals.
