Hi all,
I wanted to share a unique job posting with you: *Public Programming
Coordinator at the Arab American National Museum*. I am currently in this
position, but I have found an Executive Director opportunity that will take
me away from the beautiful Arab American National Museum.
Here is a little background on why I'm posting a museum job on a library
list. I worked in public libraries for 28 years, most recently at Ferndale
Area District Library. My public programming experience was a great fit for
what they do at AANM, and I think someone with library program experience
and public-facing experience looking for a full-time gig with benefits
would be a great addition to the Public Programming team at AANM. Speaking
of that team, they are wonderful, fun people, and I couldn't recommend them
enough as colleagues, along with the rest of the museum staff. They are
looking to fill the position quickly, so if you're interested, please apply
soon! If you have any questions on specifics, please feel free to reach out
(k.d.bennett79 at gmail.com).
Thanks,
Kelly Bennett
