Happy Monday Michigan Libraries!

I am sending out a reminder that the deadline for registering for this year's conference is approaching fast. The conference will be held in Escanaba on the northern shore of Lake Michigan, at Bay Du Noc Community College.

If you are coming from downstate, you will hang a left once you cross the Mackinac Bridge and travel along beautiful Rt.2, which offers stunning views of the lake and beaches in the UP.

The dates for the conference this year are Wednesday September 25th and Thursday, September 26th. This year's theme is Bold Library Futures and speakers from around the state will focus on AI Technology, Building Collaborations, Statewide Library organization leaders, Grants and Fundraising, Programs, Academic and Public Libraries, and so much more.

We have a block of rooms at the Quality Inn in Escanaba. Please call the hotel to make your reservation and mention that you are with the library conference group. The deadline for the discount is September 10th.
