[Michlib-l] UPRLC Conference deadline and hotel rooms

Happy Wednesday Everyone,

The UPRLC Conference is less than a month away in the beautiful Upper Peninsula . Our deadline for registration is Friday, September 16th. We will not be able to accommodate on-site registration. When you register, please make sure you receive an email confirmation. We have had some glitches, so if you do not receive a confirmation, it will not show that you are registered on our end. You may contact Pam Malmsten at pmalmsten at superiorlandlibrary.org<mailto:pmalmsten at superiorlandlibrary.org> or Dillon Geshel at dgeshel at superiorlandlibrary.org<mailto:dgeshel at superiorlandlibrary.org> to make sure you are on the list.

We also got a count from the Quality Inn of the available rooms, and we are at 30 rooms for Tuesday, September 24th, 14 rooms for Wednesday, September 25th and Thursday, September 26th. If you have registered and have not booked your room, please do not wait. I do want to point out that we added sessions earlier in the day on Wednesday, September 25th since we had such a huge response this year, so the conference begins at 10:30am on Wednesday, September 25th, not at noon like in previous years. This might change your plans about when you are coming into Escanaba.

Also, we will be doing a raffle drawing at the end as usual. If you can bring an item to donate to the raffle, that would be great, but is not required.
