For my part, we do get patrons at my employer asking about KotFM and I'm
not surprised at this.

By comparison, "The Irishman" was distributed by Netflix and exclusive
to its service, which surprised me when it actually came out on physical
media (Wikipedia article quote: "...[it] received director-approved
special edition DVD and Blu-ray releases by The Criterion Collection on
November 24, 2020").

I also had the same reaction when the films "Prey" and "Pam & Tommy",
both originally exclusive to Hulu, came out on physical media.

My personal estimate is that <10% at most of films on Netflix and other
services might see a physical release.  However, when it comes to
anything to do with Apple and their films, I've learned not to hold my
breath in general for any.  We still have patrons asking about the Tom
Hanks movie "Greyhound" from 2020 and it's the same type of issue:
