This program on viewing techniques and safety should help us in preparing to share the April 8 solar eclipse.

WSU alumnus Dr. Mark Christensen has presented for us several times, including recounting his expeditions to view total solar eclipses around the world. We're happy to welcome him back.

Tuesday, January 23
6:00-7:30 p.m.

The program will be recorded, and should be available on the Detroit Public Library YouTube channel within a few weeks. We now have a virtual channel just for the astronomy programs: https://bit.ly/DPLAstronomy
