[Michlib-l] Bright Star Theatre: opportunity for booking discount

Hello Listserv,

I am booking the Bright Star Theatre to perform Bluegrass and Tall Tales at my library (Plainwell) on July 1.

The director has shared an opportunity to reduce the cost by booking more shows in the area. This is what he sent me:

Library pricing is $595 for the first show of the day; any additional same day shows in the same system is $350 each.

There is a one time travel fee of $125 for venues more than 450 miles from Raleigh, NC.

If another library system is interested in any of the three shows on this tour for that week or day--we can split the travel fee and provide a $100 discount to each system. We'll work with you on the discount if it's anywhere in the state.
