This mantra resonates with our mission, and due to popular demand from our members, we've added a latecomer product to our Libraries Are Life(tm) collection. Since this item didn't make it into our 2025 catalog, we're excited to feature it in this product spotlight.

Vinyl stickers with a quirky, retro vibe are all the rage right now, and CSLP members asked us to create something along these lines. After running the idea by our Vendor Committee, we're thrilled to introduce a set of 10 vinyl stickers featuring 5 unique designs by Mike Mullan<https://cslpreads.us13.list-manage.com/track/click?u=043a7515ceb3ad45bdd2dd405&id=9b1a1ac54b&e=c18caf2bb6>, our artist from Color Our World.

Product details:

  * Designs: 5 original Mike Mullan creations
  * Quantity: 10 stickers per set
  * Size: Each sticker is between 2" and 3" in height
  * Versatility: Stickers can be cut out for individual giveaways
These stickers are perfect for adding a little extra flair to your programs or as fun, colorful giveaways. Get yours today from our shop<https://cslpreads.us13.list-manage.com/track/click?u=043a7515ceb3ad45bdd2dd405&id=05f0ffe36b&e=c18caf2bb6> for $7.99/sheet (that's ~.80 cents per sticker) and share the message that Libraries Are Life(tm)!

Our volunteer Inclusion Committee<https://cslpreads.us13.list-manage.com/track/click?u=043a7515ceb3ad45bdd2dd405&id=2835a844e9&e=c18caf2bb6> and presenter, Stephanie Haines from the Indiana Arts Commission, provided a valuable webinar on arts and inclusion this month. Their focus on accessibility through arts-related tools and resources ensures all members feel welcome and can fully participate. The webinar emphasizes the role of libraries in promoting equity by enhancing program reach, particularly in summer reading programs.

By integrating accessible arts activities, libraries can expand their audience and foster community connections. Practical advice on adapting materials to meet diverse needs is shared, making programs more impactful. The universal language of art is recognized as a powerful tool for connection and inclusion. Importantly, the principles discussed are applicable year-round, not just for summer programs. This webinar goes beyond programming - it's about fostering belonging, creativity, and shared experiences at the heart of library services.

The recording and additional materials are available for viewing on our Inclusion Resources page<https://cslpreads.us13.list-manage.com/track/click?u=043a7515ceb3ad45bdd2dd405&id=1829b18b95&e=c18caf2bb6>.

Two Kates from Colorado Walked into a Library... Wait!
Actually, two Kates from Colorado recorded the latest episode of their podcast, Sunshine and Stories from the Colorado State Library<https://cslpreads.us13.list-manage.com/track/click?u=043a7515ceb3ad45bdd2dd405&id=e7861f6e13&e=c18caf2bb6>! This time, they're diving into CSLP resources with a clear and engaging explanation. If you're unfamiliar with CSLP or need a quick refresher, this 17-minute episode is well worth your time. And did we mention how charming the hosts are?

Here's the breakdown:

  *   00:00 - Introduction
  * 01:24 - What the heck is CSLP?
  *   03:55 - CSLP's 2025 resources
  * 06:36 - Don't forget to review the CSLP Rules of Use
  * 09:58 - What does the State Library have for me?
  * 15:20 - Highlights from the CSLP program manual
  *   16:16 - Closing
