Library Director Opportunity

Tecumseh, Michigan, is a vibrant small community, situated 25 miles
southwest of Ann Arbor, and 45 miles northwest of Toledo.

Nestled into the rolling landscape of Lenawee County, the city's location
provides easy access to major highways and transportation hubs. Tecumseh is
home to over 8,600 residents and 300 businesses, with over 350 acres of
parks, a performing arts theater, and numerous festivals throughout the year
.

The Tecumseh District Library is a Class IV library and a member of the
Woodlands Library Cooperative. If you seek a small town where you can get
to know the community you serve, where you can lead an outstanding
team as their
new director while working with patrons, Friends group and community

community.

Tecumseh District Library is funded through a community millage which
doesn’t expire until 2033.  The library offers a starting pay rate of
$80,000, a retirement contribution program, and a strong benefit package.

Candidates
must meet and maintain the requirements set by the Library of Michigan for
