[Michlib-l] Michigan Notable Book Reading & Conversation

Good morning,

The Madonna University Library invites you to a Michigan Notable Book reading and conversation with Aaron Robertson, author of The Black Utopians: Searching for Paradise and the Promised Land in America. This event takes place on Monday, April 14 at 6pm in Kresge Hall, at Madonna University (36600 Schoolcraft Rd, Livonia). This event is open to the public and will have light refreshments and an ASL interpreter onsite.

Aaron Robertson is a writer, editor, and translator from Italian. His nonfiction debut, The Black Utopians (FSG, 2024), was named a finalist for the 2024 Los Angeles Times Book Prize in History and a best book of the year by The New York Times, The New Yorker, The Washington Post, TIME, and others. His translation of Beyond Babylon by Igiaba Scego was shortlisted for the 2020 PEN Translation Prize. He is currently working on his first novel.
