POSITION:

Library Aide II, Digital Services: Full Time (35 hours per week)
Includes evening and weekend hours (Saturday & Sunday)


QUALIFICATIONS:

   - Bachelor’s degree
   - Public library experience
   - Strong interpersonal/communication skills
   - Demonstrated competency with information technology including digital
   resources, online catalogs, the internet, social media sites, mobile devices
   - Commitment to public service
   - Regularly reads and has knowledge of current and popular authors
   - Monitors mainstream and professional media


RESPONSIBILITIES:

   - Provides reference, reader’s advisory, and technology assistance at
   the adult and youth public service desks
   - Provides instruction and support for patron’s use of eMedia resources
   and devices
   - Assists with planning and instruction for technology workshops
   - Assists with collection maintenance activities
   - Serves on library committees
   - Other duties as assigned

WAGES & BENEFITS:

Library Aide (Full Time): $25.92-$30.95 per hour, depending on
qualifications.

Medical with prescription, dental, optical, disability and life insurance

voluntary deferred compensation plan; vacation; holiday; personal and sick
leave.
