[Michlib-l] Director Manuals

Hello Everyone,

I am currently serving as the Interim Director of a class II library in the
Upper Peninsula and I am wondering whether anyone can provide insight on
how your Director Manuals are created and maintained.

Do you have physical copies outlining policies, or are they digital
documents? Or both? How often are these documents updated? Are your
specific policies determined by your governing board, or through a
different method? Does that depend on the policy in question?

I may not be wording my inquiry very well. Basically, do you have a "how
to" guide for the director of your library, and how is it created and
maintained?
