You're probably looking for something a lot more sophisticated than this, but we piece it all together. We use a projector and a big screen for most presentations. We add the Owl for meeting-type presentations, have our city's videographer record some programs, and have a separate hand-held mic and high-quality portable speaker for Q & A. One of our meeting/program rooms also has a built-in sound system with speakers in the ceiling - this is very nice. We supplement with a hand-held or lapel mic when necessary.

Subject: [Michlib-l] Video and Audio setup for meeting spaces

Hi Everyone!

We're looking into updating some of the technology for our meeting spaces. Currently we have a portable projector, speaker, and laptop but no video capability. We want to see what other libraries might have in regards to meeting rooms that integrate video cameras, and audio systems. The general thought is that the space would be able to hold video conferences, as well as livestream performances, or record board meetings etc. Thanks so much!
