This is a part-time internship opportunity anticipated to run from September 2025 to August 2026 with scheduling ranging from 10-15 hours per week. The hourly rate of pay is $18.00.

Position Summary

The Library Science Student Intern reports to the Local History/Archives Librarian and the Public Services Area Coordinator, and is primarily responsible for working with the Library’s archives and collections at the Upton House Museum and assisting with weekly tours. This will involve cataloguing new physical accessions and handling historic documents and photos to help with answering historical reference questions. The Intern will also write an article for the city magazine on a related historical topic.
