In the spirit of sharing information and supporting all Michigan library workers with quality CE opportunities, the LM CE Round-Up will feature professional development resources inside, adjacent to, and outside of the library world. We know we could never feature all the amazing content and opportunities available to support staff development and organizational learning. But that's no reason not to try to get the word out! Join the Eisenberg Family Depression Center<http://depressioncenter.org/wmhc> for their sixth annual Workplace Mental Health Conference which centers the importance of employee well-being. From onboarding to employee retention, a healthy and supportive workplace culture is a critical component to organizational success in all sectors. The conference features sessions that will provide insights and actionable steps organizations can take to support their employees both in and out of the workplace.

Craft programs in libraries can create space for fostering social connection in addition to participating in art projects. In this webinar, explore practical strategies to encourage interaction among participants and build shared learning experiences in your existing programming. Learn how to design activities that enable people to express their talents and encourage them to step into leadership roles to help each other succeed. Gain ideas for programs that incorporate inexpensive process art techniques for intergenerational attendees. This session will provide actionable insights and examples to help library staff integrate intentional community-building into craft programs.
