[Michlib-l] Paid Parental Leave at Your Library?

Hello -

Here to gather information on how libraries are handling paid parental leave. I’m exploring the possibility of offering paid maternity/paternity leave to staff at our library without requiring them to use accrued sick or vacation time.

If your library provides paid parental leave as a standalone employee benefit, I would appreciate it if you could share what that looks like in duration and any relevant policy details. This information will help me prepare for discussion with my Library Board.
