Attorney Mark Brewer has been a pivotal figure in election cases since the 1980s. He will address the details that must be considered in designing petitions and conducting petition drives, and related campaigns, in order to avoid the pitfalls that have plagued Michigan petition campaigns in recent years.
We will be offering the program in person at the Knapp Branch as well as on Zoom. While Zoom is probably more convenient for most, you are welcome to join us in person.
Tuesday, May 13
6:00-7:30 p.m.
Please register on Eventbrite for Zoom: https://dpl-petition-drive.eventbrite.com
You are not required to register to attend in person, but please do so if you want to be notified in case the branch needs to close. Branch hours are listed in my sig below.
This program will be posted on the LWV YouTube channel. Please let me know if you would like the url, for this or previous programs.
If you would like a jpg or pdf of the flyer, please let me know.
This is another of DPL's programs in partnership with the Detroit League of Women Voters, promoting voter education and tools for action. It will be available on the League of Women Voters subchannel of DPL's YouTube channel later.
