[Michlib-l] composition of library board committees

Melissa,

We have had excellent success including a staff member as a full voting
member of several committees.  We have found there are a lot of positives
to including staff in the process.

A staff member should not serve on a personnel committee or similar due to
its sensitivity, but no concern here about the others you mentioned or
others that we have, including strategic planning.  - dp
