Grand Valley State University Libraries welcome applicants for the position of Publishing Services Manager (University Libraries)
This new, entry-level position is responsible for the development, management and maintenance of the University Libraries’ publishing services program in our institutional repository, ScholarWorks at GVSU. Duties and responsibilities include facilitating set-up, design process, and ongoing maintenance for journals, conference/event communities, and open education materials in ScholarWorks, developing and maintaining relationships with authors, editors, or sponsoring entities. Qualifications include bachelor’s degree, exceptional written and oral communication skills, experience with or knowledge of institutional repository software, demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects, knowledge of emerging and best practices in open access scholarly publishing; flexibility, creativity, ability to work in a changing environment; ability to work independently and collaboratively, ability to work with diverse groups.
