Hello Friends,

The next Friends of Michigan Libraries (FOML) workshop is called *"MI
Friends and MI Community: How MI Friends Promote the Library"* and it's
coming up on *Thursday, September 11, 2014* at the *Cascade Township Branch
of the Kent District Library!*

Speakers and topics include:

   - Rochester Hills Public Library Director *Christine Hage*
presenting *"Being
   Political"*

   - *Lance Werner*, Director of the Kent District Library on *"Millage
   Elections: Options for Friends"*

   - *"Preparing for Millage Elections: Nuts and Bolts"* presented by
FOML's Trustee Alliance Representative *Shirley Bruursema*

   - and *Kris Rzepczynski*, Archivist at the Archives of Michigan,
speaking about *"What Can the Archives of Michigan Offer You?"*

FOML workshops are a great time to network with other Friends groups, tour
the *Cascade Township Library*, and spend a day learning how to support
your library!
