Central Michigan University Libraries seeks applications for the position
of Coordinator of Reference Operations. This position provides specialized
support to both the Reference and Global Campus Library Services
departments through service at the library's Reference Desk; coordinates
and participates in the training, scheduling, and supervision of Reference
department student workers; takes meeting minutes; and creates dashboards.
The incumbent of this position also assists in creation of library learning
objects and marketing efforts, maintains departmental records, and provides
other departmental support.
*Required Qualifications*
Bachelor’s degree
2-3 years of library experience
Strong computer and technical skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills
*Desired Qualifications*
Experience working in a higher education environment
Supervisory experience
Master’s degree
