Planning and Conducting Oral History Projects

 

With Representatives of the Michigan Oral History Association

 

This workshop will take place 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Those looking to start an oral history project will not want to miss this
workshop presented by representatives of the Michigan Oral History
Association. The session will cover the process of identifying interviewees,
developing questionnaires, and conducting interviews. A follow-up workshop
will examine best practices in preserving these oral histories and making
them accessible to the public. 

 

This workshop is co-sponsored by the Michigan Archival Association.

The Historical Society of Michigan is our state's oldest cultural
organization, founded in 1828 by territorial governor Lewis Cass and
