Here is what I found:

An amendement to the Michigan Open Meetings Act was made effective Dec. 31,
2012.  PA 528 amended Section 5 of the OMA by adding additional notice
requirements for certain meetings that are open to the public.  These
provisions deal with informing the public about meetings through use of the
institutions website.
